Tim Shieff
From Free Running Wiki
Timothy Graham "Livewire" Shieff (born March 24, 1988[1] in Hartford, Connecticut, USA and now living in Derby, United Kingdom[1]) is the current World Freerunning Champion. He is well known for his handstand ability, being one of the few free runners capable of controlling a one handed handstand, and his YouTube series with Damien Walters, The Walters & Shieff Show.
After being a member of the core Urban Freeflow team for many years, he quit at the end of the Barclaycard World Freerun Championships because he didn't like Ez's attitude[2], along with 5 other team members[3]. He is currently a member of the World Freerunning & Parkour Federation[4].
Tim has a background in breakdancing, which is how he originally gained much of his upper-body strength[citation needed]. In January 2006, due to an injury to his knees, he needed an operation to remove both meniscus from his knees[5][citation needed].
