Liverpool
From Free Running Wiki
Liverpool is a city and metropolitan borough of Merseyside, England, with a relatively large free running and parkour scene.
[edit] Film/TV appearances
- An episode of the popular BBC motoring programme Top Gear featured a race between James May in a Peugeot 207 against two traceurs — Daniel Ilabaca and John Kerr from Worldwide Jam's 'Street Team'—in the city of Liverpool on July 23 2006. The traceurs won the race to the Liver Building, if only because May, true to character, got lost on his way to the building.
[edit] New movements
- Daniel Ilabaca landed the first monkey gainer at the pavilion in Moreton, Liverpool
- In April 2009 during a Moreton jam, after several attempts onto a crashmat, Will Sutton landed two double gainers onto grass.
- Ney tried a dash bomb off the pavilion at the same spot as Joe Scandrett in Moreton, Liverpool, but broke his foot with the attempt.
- Daniel Ilabaca performed the first roll to frontflip (what's it called?) from the pavilion.
