Handspring catleap
From Free Running Wiki
A handspring to catleap is a free running move that involves a front handspring over an obstacle with a landing in the cat leap position.
[edit] History
- In 2003 Sebastien Foucan landed the move for the first time on camera[1] in a gym. It was in a scene in the documentary Jump London[citation needed]. After many unsuccessful attempts, he finally landed the move, to much celebration, and then proceeded immediately to attempt it again, landing it even cleaner than the first time, after which he came out with the now famous phrase "This is why the repetition is very important".
- In September 2008, at the Annual Quebec Meeting in Montreal, Steven Leblanc landed the move between two concrete walls. [2]
