Butterfly twist
From Free Running Wiki
Butterfly Twist
A butterfly twist (also known as btwist) is a move primarily used in tricking, but is also seen occasionally in free running. The move originates from Wushu[citation needed].
A butterfly twist is basically a butterfly kick, but at the height of your jump, you spin 360 degrees horizontal to the ground, landing on the opposite leg to a bkick. This is useful for transition into other movements because it allows you to swingthrough.
[edit] Common Varitations
- Hyper btwist - btwist landing on the kicking leg
- Double btwist - a butterfly twist with a 720 degree horizontal twist
- Triple btwist - a butterfly twist with a 1080 degree horizontal twist (not yet landed on flat)
