An angel drop is a back somersault, generally a layout backflip, performed from hanging off a wall. The angel drop was first popularized when Daniel Ilabaca did one in his Lisses video[1], although his foot was resting on a pipe and the move has been performed many times on empty walls.

[edit] Variations

Angel drop 360/Angel drop full - Scott Jackson did a variation of this in his garden training two video video[2] that involved his foot landing on top of the wall before executing the full. This has also been known as the Sackson Swipe.
