Julian Vazquez (Born August 2nd, 1992) is an American freerunner/traceur from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Julian began freerunning in 2009 after discovering freerunning on Youtube. Inspired by a group of kids from Colorado and their aesthetic movements that involved high level acrobatics, Julians style of movemement is minimally effective, but visually appealing. Julian is very well known for moving impulsively, with no hesitation and very little fear, and this has resulted in several serious falls, including the Double Front To Concussion Bail, through which he has developed a false reputation as a reckless and irresponsible athlete. This is not the case; Julian avoids gyms and encourages others to learn movements outside, where they will ultimately be executed, as he feels mastering movements in gyms takes away from the self development and fear conquering aspects of all movement - parkour, acrobatic, or otherwise. He includes many falls in his videos because he feels they are equally as important, if not more so, than flawlessly accomplished movements because there is so much to be learned and gained from them. His passion for movement is only exceeded by his respect, kindness, and love for all those in his life that share with him in movement.
