George Mayfield (born May 30, 1992[1]) is a British free runner from Cheltenham, United Kingdom[2], and has been a member of the Urban Freeflow performance team[3] since early 2008[4].

[edit] Biography

He was introduced to the discipline in 2005 by his brother Jonah Mayfield[1]. In early 2008, after releasing a sponsorship video[5], he was recruited to be part of the Urban Freeflow performance team[4].

In 2009 he competed in the second Red Bull Art of Motion competition, where he was given the nickname Beast[1]. He failed to finish in the top 10.

Later in the same year he took part in the Barclaycard World Freerun Championships, under the nickname G-Force[2], where he reached the final, but injured his ankle at the end of his run attempting a double sideflip. He finished in 5th place[6].
